NumbSkulls are many things…

For starters, each NumbSkull is a work of digital art and code. Plus, it’s an NFT — or Non-Fungible Token, minted for eternity on the blockchain. It’s a collectible, with common, rare, and super rare traits. It’s a vector logo that can be modified using CSS. It’s a brand of the future. It’s a portal to another dimension… just kidding, it’s not a portal — yet.

There are 1,111 NumbSkulls available in our phase 1 genesis release, and 6,666 total NumbSkulls. We will begin gathering more WL applicants after selling out the genesis collection.

1. Sign up for Metamask or Coinbase Wallet and download the extension on your internet browser.
2. Make sure you have enough Ethereum in your wallet to cover the total cost, including gas fees.
3. Click the Connect button at the top of our website on the “Mint” page to connect to your wallet.
4. Click on the mint button and sign for your transaction. There will be a fee associated with every transaction related to gas prices.
5. Once you have made your purchase, your NumbSkulls NFTs will appear in your wallet and on Opensea and other marketplaces!

Each NumbSkull is a work of minimal art and design. However, it’s much more.

Each NumbSkull provides you with IP rights to the SVG image file. Since we used the SVG file format, each NFT is a tiny file size (under 10KB!), and it’s much more versatile than other image file formats.

The shapes used to create each design have been given individual class names, and may be manipulated using CSS. So, you can change your NumbSkull colors, hide the background, apply hover effects, animation, and more! The SVG file format is so much more powerful than a PNG or JPG image.

If that wasn’t enough, each SVG image is infinitely scalable for print purposes. So, you can print your NFT on merchandise, swag, signage, or even a 20-story wall mural — without ever seeing a pixelated edge.

Beyond black and white, each NumbSkull may possibly contain up to 4 additional colors — gold, red, green, and blue. Finding any one color is rare. Multiple colors are epic. And all four colors within the same image is unbelievable.

NFTs are cemented in eternity on the blockchain. Unlike most files on the internet, the ownership of an NFT can be verified and traced. Therefore, by owning an NFT, you truly own the art.

Think of it like this — you may have a poster of Vincent van Gogh’s “Starry Night” on your wall. But it’s not the original work of art. The poster is essentially worthless. On the other hand, the original work of art is essentially priceless.

Sure, somebody can screenshot an image and print it out, but it’s not truly theirs. Similarly, somebody can print any work of fine art. But they don’t own the original. NFTs are the verifiable original work of art. They bring legitimacy, rarity, and value to digital art — a historically under appreciated and undervalued form of art.

The metaverse is still in the distant future. NumbSkulls are here now. However, we envision NumbSkulls existing in the metaverse as skins on your avatars, signage on your virtual storefronts, or artwork on the walls of your virtual homes. Our goal is to establish the presence of NumbSkulls throughout the real world — then the metaverse.
